Loud exhaust noise on the inside, with a deep drone, sounds like it could be a system with glass packs or another modified exhaust system that has a straight through type of muffler. If you switch the straight through mufflers with chambered mufflers it will take care of that issue.

That said, the resonated vs non-resonated exhaust tips won't really matter much if at all.
